Last year the Kansas Jayhawks won their 14th straight Big 12 regular season championship. This year they will very likely win their 15th. This is considering that there is a number of distractions around the program after the close of the FBI investigation, along with with the fact that that they will likely be without Silvio De Sousa as they are holding him out. It’s not that there aren’t any good teams in the Big 12 this year–Kansas State, West Virginia, TCU, and several others will all be good–but it frankly won’t matter. It’s obvious what the Cowboys are hoping to accomplish with this trade: fill the void of a big, strong, primary receiver created by the absence of Dez Bryant. Cooper started out of the gate in a full sprint, beginning his pro career with two straight 1000 yard seasons. Ohio State’s weaknesses as a team have been thrusted into the spotlight during these past few weeks. This all culminated with the drubbing that Ohio State just took on the road. The Purdue Boilermakers pulled an “Iowa” on Ohio State, as this is the second year in a row where the Buckeyes were blown out by a Big Ten West team that was wearing all black uniforms on the road.
