The Ohio state Buckeyes were 12-1 (2-0) in the latter months of 2018. They pulled off solid wins over Cincinnati, Creighton, Minnesota, Illinois, and UCLA. Additionally, their only loss was to a Syracuse team that is coming off a win over top ranked Duke. The Buckeyes were tied for first in the Big Ten with the likes of 2nd ranked Michigan and 6th ranked Michigan State.
