With the most watched sporting event in the world kicking off in just under a month casual fans are clamoring to see who they should cheer for in this upcoming World Cup. These four teams I believe have the best shot to earn bragging rights for the next four years. Read Full Article Here!
With spring ball coming to a close and the summer dead period rapidly approaching let’s take a closer look at the top two teams from each division in the Big Ten.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Despite losing the most decorated quarterback in conference history in JT Barrett the Buckeyes are once again poised for a playoff run. Although little has been seen of him the small glimmer we have gotten of Dwayne Haskins has been positive. Look for him to thrive behind an experienced offensive line, and three very talented backs to take the heat off of the passing game. Ohio State may have the best running back duo in the country in Mike Webber and JK Dobbins. Dobbins is coming off a monster year which saw him rush for 1400 yards. Defensively the Buckeyes lose star corner Denzel Ward, but this defense should be stout as ever. A deep D-Line anchored by Nick Bosa should be downright terrifying. The Wildcats have an absurd 6 players scoring in double figures, led by junior guard Jalen Brunson with 19 ppg. The Wildcats are the team to beat coming out of the East. I expect Alabama to give Nova a scare in the second round but for the most part the Cats should tear right through this side of the bracket, as Purdue is their only feasible competition; and even they have been less than impressive at times.
