Ever since he was replaced by Tua Tagovailoa in the National Championship game against Georgia, it seemed inevitable that Jalen Hurts would someday leave Alabama. It was essentially a guarantee this year after Tua’s impressive season, despite Hurts’ heroics in the SEC Championship. Hurts wasted no time finding his new home, as he announced that he will be transferring to Oklahoma, where he will be eligible immediately. This transfer is huge for all of college football, but let’s take a look at the three aspects that it affects the most.
