Diving into Tonight’s Big Matchup Duke vs UNC

In the second of two semifinal games Friday, Duke and UNC continue their rivalry and face off for the third time this season. The teams share a dramatic history and the rivalry is considered the greatest in college basketball. Duke is looking to see how they match up with their big 3 all healthy. UNC is looking to beat Duke three times in a season for the first time since 1976. Both teams are aiming to advance to the ACC Championship. IT DOESN’T GET BETTER THAN THIS!

College Basketball’s 2018-2019 Regular Season Awards

No season in college basketball is created equal. Last year’s unpredictable nature in which top-ranked teams fell from grace at a higher clip than ever before, was certainly not expected to be duplicated one year thereafter.

While that narrative proved to be true, storylines and plot twists alike were in abundance once again as we now find ourselves on a crash course for what many believe to be the greatest tournament in all of sports.

With conference tournaments set to get juicy in the coming 48 hours, we look back on who stood out amongst the rest en route to my college basketball regular season awards for the 2018-2019 season.

Duke vs UNC Preview

The Duke Blue Devils take on the North Carolina Tar Heels tonight in the newest chapter in one of the best rivalries in sports.  Duke has the most talked about team in my lifetime and probably one of the most talked about teams of all time.  North Carolina is ranked 8th and has a chance to move into a tie for first place in the ACC with who else but the Blue Devils.  So, a huge rivalry, two great teams, two legendary coaches, one of the most hyped and unique prospects college basketball has seen, and now we have the most hyped game of the college basketball season so far, tickets selling for thousands of dollars, and celebrities like Barack Obama and Todd Gurley in attendance.  This game will be exciting. Kansas, Gonzaga, and Tennessee Pose the Biggest Threat to Knock off Duke

The Duke Blue Devils were more than impressive in their opener against #2 Kentucky, beating them by 34, and scoring 118 points. Their star freshmen, RJ Barrett, Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, and Tre Jones, lived up to the hype. No freshmen scaries for this crew, as Barrett had 33, Zion with 28, and Reddish had 22.
